Let’s turn self-care

into a cure

Learn how you can support life-changing breast cancer research.

Now more than ever, hope is at hand in the fight to end breast cancer. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is dedicated to addressing women's most common form of cancer worldwide. We think of the women we know and honor the women we don’t, but the road to a cure doesn’t stop here.

Female breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide, surpassing lung cancer for the first time in 2020, with an expected 2.3 million new cases each year.1 Thanks to research, there are more than 3.8 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. today,2 and breast cancer mortality rates have decreased by 41% since 1989.3

By contributing to this life-changing research, education and medical services, we can continue to pave the way toward a cure. That’s why every year, during the month of October, we help support cruelty-free breast cancer research with our limited-edition hand relief moisturizing creme.

This October, our hand relief features the adored shampure aroma, and $10 USD of the purchase price supports cruelty-free research* through the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Aveda is donating a maximum donation of $2,160 USD. to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support cruelty-free research. Dates of promotion: September 25th, 2022 through to June 30th, 2023, or until supplies last.

The Estee Lauder company’s charitable foundation has funded more than $108 million in life-saving research. Since 2001, Aveda has raised close to $7 million through the BCRF. This mission of care is at the core of who we are. With every collection we create, we strive to make an impact that goes beyond the bottle, helps protect our planet and cares for all living creatures.

Discover how we're continuing our commitment to this vital cause and how you can get involved.
